Then, while you have a refreshing beverage by the fire, Marco will make some tables magically appear and I’ll serve you a nourishing 6-course vegetarian meal!

This is our official welcome to fall. A cozy mini retreat in the backyard all about connection, nourishment, and slowing down with the change of seasons. Marco and I are thrilled to share our space with Katherine and you.

Atwater Village, Los Angeles, CA
Thai Yoga Massage is for friends, couples, siblings and strangers. This workshop explores the foundations of Thai Yoga Massage. Learn how to palm someone’s calves into bliss, how to give heavenly neck traction and how to prep a smile with facial massage. This 90-minute workshop is a conversation with your person without words.

Thai Yoga Massage was practiced between monks in the Buddhist Temples to share the Metta - loving kindness. The receiver is passive but fully present in deep relaxation while the giver will assist the receiver to reach several yoga postures. There will be constant body contact between giver and receiver, but rather than rubbing on the muscles, the body is compressed, pulled, stretched and rocked. This massage is an incredible act of tenderness toward someone you love. Massage takes place on the floor using blankets and pillows, so no fancy table needed. Appropriate for all levels and ages.
